Debut CD - Highway 80
A little about me…
Hi folks! I'm Adrian and I thought I'd tell you a little about myself. First of all, I'm 16 and a girl-which is kind of different for a writer and singer of hardcore buckaroo songs. I've lived on ranches around the west with a particular soft spot for our time in Elko County, Nevada. I live and work on a ranch in Northern California now day-working, starting colts, and building gear in the saddle shop. I spend a lot of time working on my music and most nights I come in and try my new songs and music on my parents. I love to play guitar and I write my songs on my Alvarez acoustic 6 string. I also love to play my Breedlove 12 string and Fender electric Lead II-guitar just kind of fits with my music. I play all over the place and I've been really fortunate to sing at some cool venues with my friends both old and new. Last year I did a few shows with Grammy winner, Ramblin' Jack Elliott, one of them being at the historic Freight and Salvage Company, it's a really cool old building in Berkeley California where lots of legends in folk music played before. I also did several gigs at Heber City, Utah's awesome gathering as well as the National Cowboy Gathering in Elko, Nevada. I'm scheduled to play at Heber City again this year as well as the 25th Anniversary Gathering in Elko.
Highway 80
is my current CD and it's as cowboy as it gets. These are songs about working cowboys and real events. The songs reflect my experiences and those of other cowboys I talk to. Weather, cattle, horses, wrecks, roping, saddles and a little romance all play an important part in my songs.
I do lots of smaller shows around the West primarily (although I have done some back East as well) and you should get hold of me if you think you'd like my music at your event-I'd love to get to know you! Thanks for visiting my site and I really look forward to meeting you soon.
