The Gables

Every one has a story to tell and the songs I wrote about The Drifting Vaquero, Old Time Vaquero, Old Dale and several others are my way of reminding all of us that past generations have a lot to teach us today. The folks that I met at The Gables were so wondeful, not only did a lot of them have a sincere passion for music and lyrics....but they also related to the songs because of the stories behind them Several women told me how they grew up on farms where their families homesteaded and ranched and one of them even hired out just like a man and cowboy'd!

You certinly never know where you will meet a true buckaroo!

I hope you enjoy these picures, this was a really amazing group of people and I'm so happy I got a chance to meet and perform for them.
