Dear Cowgirl, I have a little secret to share…

There are some women whose names become synonymous with the history and character of the West. There are some women we look to as leaders, role models and icons. We watch them when we are young, and follow their example as we grow and pave our own road through this wild world. Pam Minick is one of these women. You could call her a cowgirl, a trailblazer, an award winner, a horsewoman and an inspiration. She has spent a lifetime doing the kind of work that changes what is possible for the women who come after her…and she has been my hero since I was a little girl watching RFDTV, never imagining I would one day find myself in the same rooms as her…and lucky enough to call her friend. Tomorrow, I finally get to share why her name, her incredible story and her beautiful heart is now connected to something I hold so dear.
